Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits — work in comparable ways. We use the word "cookies" in this policy to refer to all of these technologies.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by third-party services we use (third-party). They can last only for your browsing session (session cookies) or persist for a set period (persistent cookies).

We group the technologies on this site into the following categories:

Strictly necessary. A small number of technologies required for the site to function and stay secure. These are always active and do not require consent. (We also protect the site with server-side rate limiting based on your IP address, which does not rely on cookies.)

Site functionality. On our /start-free-site page we are currently testing two versions of the page layout. A first-party cookie named zk_ab records which version you were shown — a single letter, A or B, and nothing else. It holds no identifier, is never shared with anyone, and exists so the page does not change under you between visits. It is set on that page only.

Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, which may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>. These are on by default and you can turn them off at any time using the controls below.

Advertising. Used to measure the performance of our advertising and, where applicable, to support remarketing. This may include the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which can set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, and which may also send conversion information to Meta from our own servers. Advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time using the controls below. When you turn them off we stop sending advertising events and clear those cookies.

Functional. Our AI assistant ("Zara"), a voice and chat widget provided by Retell AI, may use local or session storage to maintain the continuity of a conversation while you are interacting with it.

Analytics and advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time. We do not interrupt you with a banner to ask — the controls are always there instead:

• Tap the small cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page. It opens a panel showing which categories are currently on, with a one-tap way to turn the non-essential ones off.
• Or use the Cookie preferences link (also available in the footer) to open the same panel.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and advertising cookies automatically.
• You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site work.

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google (Analytics)
• Meta (Pixel)
• Retell AI (voice & chat assistant)

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
